Installation of the sports nets
To fasten the sports nets correctly, you may need certain accessories. You can purchase these from us too. For example, net hooks for goal nets for a football or handball goal ensure that the net is held securely in the goal and are very easy to attach in the goal frame. Our shop also offers Kevlar cables and tensioning ropes, as well as net ballasts, as practical aids for fastening sports nets.
When installing your sport net, observe the recommendations for your sport. For example, volleyball nets for tournaments have to be correctly tensioned above the court. According to the official specifications, only minor deviations are permitted with regard to the sag in the middle of the net. With the right accessories (or the complete sets, which you can purchase from us), your sport net will satisfy the highest standards and you will be perfectly equipped. However, many sports nets are also available as training nets or recreational sets (e.g. beach volleyball) for less high standards. These are very easy to set up for a quick game in the garden or on the beach.
Sports nets for goals and courts

Ball protection nets are used to stop the ball in football or handball and as an additional protection for golf nets in golf cages.

Knotted or knotless sports nets?
Regardless of the material used and the mesh width that is required, there is still the question of whether the net is to be knotted or knotless. Knotted sports nets have a number of advantages over knotless nets. In a sport which puts a lot of strain on the net and in which the mesh tears, the version with knots is somewhat easier to repair in the affected area. Therefore, knotted nets show a real benefit considering sustainability goals.
Knotless nets may be less dimensionally stable, but they can also be used for many purposes and in situations in which a lower surface stability is an advantage.
